From Genomics to Fraud Detection – Innovative Uses of Supercomputers
Dr. H. Gilbert Miller, Corporate Vice President and Chief Technology Officer at Noblis will return to the Southern Piedmont Technology Council to present the research accomplishments of the Noblis Center for Applied High Performance Computing. He will focus on the applications developed in the Center and the potential resultant national impact.
Dr. Miller brings over 30 years of experience in large-scale systems engineering and acquisition projects spanning nearly every federal government agency. He has served as a voting member on and advisor to numerous source selection boards. He has testified before source selection protest bodies such as the General Services Administration (GSA) Board of Contract Appeals, has represented federal clients with members of Congress and their staff, and has served as advisor to several GSA administrators. He is a recognized expert in information technology, networks and telecommunications, and acquisition strategy.
