2015 Virginia Spring State Meeting "Mock National Convention"

The Danville Alumnae Chapter Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. will host the 2015 Virginia Spring State Meeting “Mock National Convention”.  We will welcome 400+ Deltas from across the Commonwealth.  We will convene on April 24-25, 2015.  The host hotels are Courtyard Marriott and Comfort Inn & Suites.  The Spring State Meeting will be held at The Institute for Advanced Learning & Research.  Mayor Sherman Saunders will give a proclamation and bring greetings on behalf of the city.  Our public service initiate for this event is Haven of the Dan River Region in support of victims of domestic violence.  Sheriff Mike Mondul will accept our donation on that day. All Virginia Chapters Alumnae and Collegiate will make contributions to the public service project.  We are asking the Restaurants and Businesses in Danville to be hospitable on that weekend.  Deltas love to shop and eat and will spend lots of money in Danville that weekend!
