You know it's fall when everyone heads to Callands for the Pittsylvania Historical Society's fall festival, Autumn Potpourri. Now in its 35th year, this event features arts, crafts, music, food and much more. Come and spend the day with your family, friends, and neighbors. Sip freshly pressed apple cider, enjoy a bowl of Chatham Rotary Club's tasty Brunswick stew and top it all off with a fried apple pie or oatmeal cookie, all offerings to wet the appetite of festival goers. Come early to enjoy the sights, sounds, and tastes of another day in the country at our two old 18th century buildings in downtown Callands, Pittsylvania County's birthplace in 1767. |
