Pediatric Physical Therapist

The Pediatric Physical Therapist (PT) is responsible for the assessment and treatment of pediatric patients with a variety of disorders. The Physical Therapist (PT) is responsible for the treatment of patients. As well, the Physical Therapist must document and record the patient’s condition and educate patients and families in an appropriate therapy methods. The PT collaborates with a multidisciplinary team including OTs, SLPs, service coordinators, and teachers. PTA supervision may be required.

This position would be located primarily in the Halifax County Public School system. Part-time or full-time options available with flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

Must have graduated from an accredited school
Current Virginia license as a Physical Therapist or proactively in the process of the application process for current state licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant
Current CPR certification
Valid driver's license
Experience in pediatric physical therapy

CPT offers a multidisciplinary approach to treat a variety of neurological, orthopedic, and developmental disorders. Our services are delivered in the most appropriate environment for the child, whether that is in the home, daycare, school, or one of our kid-friendly outpatient clinics in Danville, Lynchburg, South Boston, or Martinsville, Virginia.
