Case Manager (Foster Care/Social Work) - Danville

Alliance Human Services, Inc. has an exciting full-time opportunity for an experienced Case Manager to join our not-for-profit, therapeutic foster care agency, located in Danville, VA. We are looking for a Bachelor’s level Case Manager, (Master’s preferred), to coordinate the treatment of the children we place with foster parents, in and around the Danville community. Work on some evenings and weekends maybe required based on the families’ schedules.

What does the workday include?

• Conducting home visits and foster parent support meetings.
• Maintaining current and complete progress notes and other documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements.
• Facilitating quarterly case conferences for the client.
• Providing training to foster parents and assist in foster parent training, planning, and development.
• Representing the agency in court, with other agencies and foster parents.
• Assisting with legal, licensing, regulatory, and certification activities.
• Maintaining knowledge of certified family / home standards and practices.
• Maintaining confidentiality, respect human rights, and practice universal precautions.
• Participating in rotational on-call system providing emergency coverage and crisis intervention support, while receiving additional compensation during your rotation.

Education and/ or Experience:

Bachelor's Degree (Master’s preferred), in a related field of social work or human services.

At least 1 year experience of case management in the social work or human service field and working with families.
