DESCRIPTION:1- Minute Manager presented by Jim McInerney \n\nThe role of management is to set expectations and hold employees accountable. This one hour session will give participants the key points on how to set expectations and hold employees accountable.  It is based on the book\, "The One Minute Manager\," by Ken Blanchard and Spencer Johnson which has sold more than 13 million copies and has been translated into 37 languages.  Participants will be provided a copy of the book.\n\n \n\n Situational Leadership presented by Don Nodtvedt\n\n This one hour session will support the first session of the day on expectations and accountability through the concept of 100% Personal Responsibility while further introducing the concept of Situational Leadership.  These concepts are based upon the book Navigating Change by Gary Gore.\n\nParticipants will be provided a copy of the book.  \n\n\n\n\n\nBrought to you in partnership with  \n\n*The West Piedmont Workforce Investment Board funds and monitors the region's five Virginia Workforce Centers and is an equal opportunity employer/program.
