The Genius Hour encourages employees to use 20% of their time to work on their own projects. Companies found that encouraging employees to step back from their day-to-day responsibilities and follow their own passions leads to increased creativity and innovation. When Google implemented this strategy\, their employees' innovative spirit led to the creation of Gmail\, Google News and other common tools that we use today.\n\n\n\nInnovation is good for business\, and your Chamber is on a mission to energize the region with an innovative\, profitable business community. In the wake of COVID-19\, fostering innovation and facilitating connections is more important than ever. Our world is not going back to what we once knew\, and the way we do business is going to look different. \n\n\n\nFor this community to recover and come back stronger\, we need to rebuild together. Innovation Hour provides you with the opportunity to share ideas\, build connections and collaborate on our region's recovery with individuals across all business sectors.
