DESCRIPTION:The Danville Pittsylvania County Chamber of Commerce is excited serve as the only host site for Leadercast Women 2019 in southern Virginia\, joining hundreds of host sites from around the world. This international conference will be streamed live at the Institute for Advanced Learning and Research in Danville\, VA.\n\n \n\nWhat is Leadercast Women?\n\n \n\nLeadercast Women is a transformational leadership event that brings nine female leadership experts with unique insights to one stage. To view the line-up of the day's speakers\, click here.\n\n \n\nThere will also be an opportunity for networking and roundtable discussions with other attendees\, in addition to a social after the flexcast concludes.\n\n \n\nWhat is This Year's Theme?\n\n\n\nCourage is not the absence of fear\; it's acting in spite of fear. \n\nWhen we consider courage\, firefighters\, policemen\, pilots and military personnel come to mind. But courage isn't reserved for a select group of leaders. Opportunities to take courage rise every day in many forms\, and it's up to us to seize those moments in our leadership. When you lead regardless of your fears and take risks for the chance to further your organization or community\, you are leading courageously.\n\n\n\nAt Leadercast Women 2019\, attendees will be emboldened to take courage in their daily lives\, whether it be in the workplace or at home. At this one-day leadership event\, nine expert leaders will share their inspirational stories of courage while also teaching us steps to enable change in our lives. Leadercast Women features an all-female cast\, but it's not a women's event. Both men and women are invited to hear from the leaders who will share from our stage.
