DESCRIPTION:After presentations from our school superintendents\, the Danville Pittsylvania County Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors voted to support the referendums in each locality that authorize a 1% sales tax increase to support Danville Public Schools and Pittsylvania County Schools. The Board believes that strong educational systems are crucial to our business community as these graduates will become a part of our future workforce. This workforce will contribute to our economic vitality and support strong communities throughout Danville and Pittsylvania County.
