Administrative Secretary

Chatham Baptist Church, a local church in the Pittsylvania County area is searching for a part-time, committed Administrative Secretary to perform general administrative duties while also being responsible for detailed clerical and secretarial work. 

Qualifications:
1. Must have knowledge and experience.
2. Must be able to use a variety of software packages included but not limited to, Microsoft Office 365 & Google Docs.
3.Must be trustworthy and be able to maintain confidentiality
4. Must have excellent interpersonal skills and customer service.
5. Excellent Verbal and Written communication skills. 

Responsibilities:
1. Answer calls and monitor voicemails.
2. Monitor and respond to emails
3. Respond and Forward USPS mail. 
4. Order office supplies
5.Prepare and distribute annual contribution statements, church bulletins and church newsletters
6.Maintain Sunday School rolls, lesson materials, and reservation list for church fellowship hall and church van
7. Maintain an accurate church membership list
8. Work with and assist the Pastor with coordinating weekly and monthly calendars with other church staff. 
9. Assist Pastor with other duties/task as deemed necessary.
