Alliance Human Services, Inc. has an exciting full-time opportunity for an experienced Social Worker/Case Manager to join our not-for-profit, therapeutic foster care agency, located in Danville, VA. We are looking for a Bachelor’s level Social Worker/Case Manager, (Master’s preferred), to coordinate the treatment of the children we place with foster parents, in and around the Danville community. Work on some evenings and weekends may be required based on the families’ schedules. With rotating on-call schedule after 90-days beginning with shadowing to get you acclimated.

Education and/ or Experience:
MUST HAVE: At least 1 year of experience as a case manager in the social work or human service field and working with families. If you possess a Bachelor's Degree or Master’s Degree in a related field of social work or human services.
OR
MUST HAVE: At least 2 years of experience as a case manager in the social work or human service field and working & providing casework to children and families. If you possess a Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in any other field of study.
What does the workday include?
- Conducting home visits and foster parent support meetings in Danville & surrounding areas.
- Maintaining current and complete progress notes and other documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements.
- Facilitating quarterly case conferences for the client.
- Providing training to foster parents and assisting in foster parent training, planning, and development.
- Representing the agency in court, with other agencies and foster parents.
- Assisting with legal, licensing, regulatory, and certification activities.
- Maintaining knowledge of certified family / home standards and practices.
- Maintaining confidentiality, respect human rights, and practice universal precautions.
- Participating in rotational on-call system providing emergency coverage and crisis intervention support, while receiving additional compensation during your rotation.

Pay: $58,700.00 per year
