Child and Family Clinician (4270)

RESPONSIBILITIES
Provides individual, family, and group counseling to children, adolescents, and their families; provides clinical assessments, intakes, and develops treatment plans; works with referrals from local Court Service Units and Family Assessment and Services Teams; provides community education, consultation, and emergency services.
 
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Requirements 
M1: Master’s degree in Human Services, Psychology, Counseling, or Social Work that includes coursework for licensure by the Virginia Department of Health Professions as a Licensed Clinical Psychologist, Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, or Licensed Substance Abuse Treatment Practitioner in Virginia required.  Successful completion of the graduate level coursework required from the licensing board to begin licensure supervision/residency must be documented on the graduate degree transcript and provided upon request
M2: Must be approved and registered with the appropriate board for licensure supervision as an LPC, LCSW, LCP, or LSATP within six months of hire
M3: Must obtain professional licensure as an LPC, LCSW, LCP, or LSATP in Virginia within six months of completing supervision/residency
M4: Must have, or be eligible to obtain, certification as a pre-screener for emergency hospitalization in Virginia within six months of hire
M5: Valid driver’s license
 
Preferred Requirements
P1:  Virginia licensed as an LPC, LCSW, LCP, or LSATP.
P2:  One year experience providing mental health services to children, adolescents, and their families.
 
Fingerprints, State and FBI criminal record reports, drug test, and central registry (CANIS) report will be required upon request.  Our Agency maintains a drug-free workplace.
 
ANNUAL SALARY RANGE
$46,005 - $80,509
$5000 Sign on Bonus
15% Increase for Licensure
7% Increase for Resident/Supervisee
